Rai Saeng Arun is a delightful retreat set along the Mekong River, surrounded by beautiful rice paddies and lush forest. My stay was incredibly peaceful, with charming bungalows and friendly staff always eager to help. The views from the hillside bungalows were stunning, but be prepared for a trek as the climb can be steep. While the dining options were lovely, there is room for improvement on the balance between luxury and practicality in the accommodations.
